fall

Greetings from the workshop! Summer has flown by and we're not sure where the past few months have gone. Is it really almost the end of October already? Weekends like this past one might have convinced us otherwise: 70 degree weather, sunshine, barely a breeze on the lake, hundreds of people out walking biking strolling rolling along the lakeshore. Now chill and rain have set in and we are feeling the darkness of the cold season creeping up on us. Always a bittersweet feeling, when fall, our favorite season, starts to slide. Maybe that's one reason we decided to call ourselves Winter Session - to help us keep up the morale during the long cold season. (Actually, our name came about for other reasons, which we would be happy to tell you about some other time). But back to fall. We're in the thick of our fall production run and our workshop is humming. We are excited about our upcoming run of Garrison and Francis bags, which we've continued to refine (and also added some new colors). We've also got some custom projects in the works, along with some new products (a clutch named Chuck, a roll-up called Billie, along with some pocket squares and handkerchiefs made from upcycled shirting). We'll be posting these in our web store when we get it up and running again in early December. In the mean time, we thought we'd share a few images of work in progress...

I like what I am seeing! I can't wait. I wish Wauconda was closer to the city- I would love to be a bug on the wall daily. :)
